Standard setups cover most jobs. Some do not: a scaffold taller than the manufacturer's tables allow, a platform that has to carry pallets of block, a cantilever over a roof edge, or shoring under a concrete deck. Those jobs need a design from a licensed engineer.
We coordinate that design with a California-licensed engineer, then build the scaffold to match the drawings. You get stamped plans for your inspector and a crew that has built from drawings before.

When a job needs drawings
Cal/OSHA rules call for a design by a qualified engineer on some scaffolds, like very tall ones or ones built outside the manufacturer's guidance. Building departments and general contractors often ask for stamped drawings on big public and commercial projects. If you are not sure whether yours qualifies, describe the job and we will tell you.
Plan early
Engineering adds time before setup. Bring us in when the schedule is still being built, not the week before the scaffold needs to go up. The earlier we see the site, the fewer changes the drawings need.

How long do engineered scaffold drawings take?
It depends on the job and the engineer's workload. Simple designs can come back in days. Complex ones take longer. Plan on at least a week or two and call early.
Do you install shoring too?
Yes. We install shoring frames and posts to support formwork or existing structures, built to an engineer's design.
